Supporting Our Local Communities Across the Channel Islands
At AFM, we are deeply committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. With dedicated Community Support Committees in both Guernsey and Jersey, we actively seek opportunities to give back through charitable support and fundraising efforts.
Our committees meet regularly to explore fundraising ideas and consider requests from local charities. Each year, following an internal selection process, we choose one charity in Guernsey and one in Jersey to support through a year-long partnership.
The selected charities benefit from the funds raised through a variety of initiatives — some of our recent activities include a charity weight loss challenge, dress-down days, cake sales, a Christmas raffle, as well as occasional support with property upgrades.
Beyond financial support, we also offer practical help where possible. This may include volunteering our building services expertise, assisting with equipment purchases, and helping to raise awareness of the charity’s work within the local community.
Interested in applying?
To be eligible, you must be a registered member of the Association of Guernsey Charities or the Association of Jersey Charities, and your work must directly support people, animals, or local activities on your island.
